Another thing we did this week was going through two poems: Poor Soul , the centre of my sinful earth, and Ozymandias. THe first one talked about how the soul is trapped inside the body as a slave. It suffers and is only free once the body dies. Ozymandias is about a broken statue of a paroh who boasts about his powerful kingdom as he points to sand destoyed houses. IT shows how power is temporary and many things don't matter in the end. Both these poems had a powerful imapact on me. I really enjoyed them, especially the Ozymandias one.
