This week we continued to finish our books and then started on our slideshows. We were required to take pictures of our book as we read that seemed to answer our big question. Mine was "what desires enforces the willpower inside of you to experience the journey". THis was a very easy question to find answers to throughout the book- although there weren't multiple answers- there was really only one which was that his personality and desire to find the truth drove him. The slide show was pretty easy to make and only took me a few days. We are starting an "I Believe" essay again but this time on one of the characters from the book and I hope I was able to get the characters personalities enough to do that. I think I will do the essay on Siddhartha's friend. I seemed to relate to him throughout the story- especially how he was a follower and didn't go to the point of death to find the answers to his questions.

This week was almost all just reading, I chose the book Siddhartha out of the four and definitely feel like it was the right one. It first interested me (like many others) from our teacher's summary- that it was about a guy trying to find his own path because the ones around him didn't seem right. I feel a lot of us picked up this book because we felt like we could relate better to this one than the others.
This week we started off with watching some of the I Believe" videos. I think they were all pretty good. I really liked one that had very nice animation. It was cool hearing some of my fellow classmates stories and struggles too. I was able to relate or just simply get to know them better. It made them feel more like people/friends rather than just a person I pass in the hallway or sit in a room with for an hour and a half.
